• We have offered courses to approximately 100 education and health professionals on the topic of “Group strategies for successfully integrating deaf children,” with participation by Gabriela Holzman and Kathy Sussman.
• We have received donations from two other civil associations in Oaxaca and from the Teleton Foundation in order to purchase high power hearing aids.
• We have instituted the only hearing rehabilitation center in southern Mexico, providing health care to people from Oaxaca and other states such as Guerrero, Puebla, Veracruz and Chiapas.
