One of the most important programs that CORAL offers is Education in Hearing and Speech for kids and parents. The efforts of our Early Detection Progam and Clinical Program are culminated here, since the acquisition of communication abilities represents a qualitative change in the lives and development of hearing impaired people.

The Education Program operates under the concept that the majority of children with hearing problems can be taught to listen and speak if they are provided with the appropriate amplification, if the hearing loss is diagnosed at an early age, and if they are trained continuously. However, conscious of the difficulties that some families encounter in the process, our philosophy and mission is to give hearing-impaired boys and girls the tools to help them communicate efficiently and become part of the society. For this to happen we must use alternative methods and modes of communication.
