Sponsor a Child
At CORAL, we believe that many hearing impaired children can learn to think, speak and listen. But, deaf education takes time, and the costs are high. Both local and foreign support is fundamental to our success. Over the past 15 years, thanks to the contributions of many, CORAL has been able to invest extensive resources toward early detection, hearing aids, and one-on-one therapies. As a result, since 1999, we have mainstreamed more than 75 children into primary schools.
But there is still a long way to go. Many more children and families are waiting for our services. The CORAL school currently serves 35 children; the tuition that their parents pay covers less than 10% of the actual cost of therapy.
Sponsoring a child offers you the opportunity to transform lives, by facilitating the child and his or her family members access an intgrated range of services. The child will be able to cultivate the skills necessary for better understading his or her sournding environment and will become more self-reliant in order to fulfill their dreams.
You can make a periodic grant (monthly or annually) through payments at the amount of your choice - any donation, big or small, makes a difference! At the end of a year you will be issued a tax deductible receipt.
